Our Kid's room is located
downstairs and off to the right. It's is where we
put on our plays and
storyhour. Terri Donnelly is the librarian for our children
and she does
an outstanding job. Also taking place in this room is our Twixt Club.

Storyhour
It is held on Friday mornings at 10 A.M. for the ages up through preschool. Teri reads to the children, helps the children create craft projects, and participate in musical activities.

Catch the Reading Bug!
This is a drop-in program with wekly bug themes, "make and take" craft projects, and games and contests. The kickoff program will be at the Library on May 31st at 1:30 in the afternoon with a bug hunt for the entire family, bug tattoos, treats, games, and prizes! Some of our weekly themes are Hooray for Honey Bees, Bring on the Butterflies, Ants in my pants, Beautiful Beatles, and Tricky Spiders. Story hour will be a weekly movie at 10:-- on Fridays for Preschool through 1st grade.
Bugly Book Bunch Lunch is a three session reading club for 9-12 year-olds. Bring a sack lunch, discuss a book, and do fun activities. June 16th, June 30th, and July 14th at 1:00 at the library. Some of the contests that will be held are: count the worms, guess the mystery bug, create a bug contest, and a photograph contest. The program will end with a Mini Beast costume parade and style show on July 26th. (More details to be announced.)
